Seattle Life

I'm adjusting a little more to life on the West Side. I'm starting to get more confident in finding my way around. My GPS won't take a charge anymore, so it's pretty useless to me. I found my way out of downtown Seattle last week when my GPS gave up its last life.

Of course, life has been pretty hectic as Mark came up late Saturday night with the UHaul. We unpacked it on Sunday. Boxes are still everywhere waiting to be unpacked.

Kyrie's best friend from Pullman came to play on Monday. She was up having a joint birthday celebration with her grandma. Kyrie was so excited to have her around. We went to Seahurst Park and played for a while and then had dinner at Burger King.

My MIL has been working on making a dress for me because I'm going down to San Francisco for my sister's wedding next week.

I'm glad to have Mark and Isaiah with us again, but I forgot how loud Kyrie and Isaiah can be when they're together.

I have pictures to post, but won't be able to upload them until Friday. That's when we're getting our wireless hook-up. I can't wait!

I need to get some playdates made soon. Mark and Kyrie were walking around the neighborhood last night looking to see if there were any kids around. Kyrie told him that she wanted to put up signs that said,"Friends Wanted." She really is my social butterfly!

"Friends Wanted". That's so funny. Sounds like something I would do!
